Crochet rest

From Wikipedia:
rest is an interval of silence in a piece of music, marked by a symbol indicating the length of the pause. Each rest symbol corresponds with a particular note value.

The quarter (crotchet) rest Crotchet rest alt plain-svg.svg may also be found as a form Crotchet rest plain-svg.svg in older music.
I mention the crochet rest because that's what I'll be taking from this blog - about a quarter of a year's worth of rest. I took a similar one back in 2010 and the reason is exactly the same: I'm in India! And methinks India is such a grand adventure that it deserves its own blog. So I shall be focusing on my other blog, www.jadorebangalore.blogspot.com, for the time being. That's not to say I won't update this one, just that it likely won't be the primary host of my posts for the next three months or so.

So scoop up your friends (and kitties), grab your hot caffeinated beverage of choice and head on over to my India blog! I'll meet you there with some stories to share.
